Judge Sherry Herrera Campbell proudly serves as the Chief Municipal Court Judge for the City of Warner Robins and as a Houston County Magistrate. She holds the historic distinction of being the first Hispanic Judge in Houston County and one of only eight Hispanic judges in the State of Georgia. Appointed in 2011, Judge Campbell presides over a broad range of cases including traffic violations, misdemeanor offenses, city ordinance violations, pre-warrant hearings, first appearances, probation violation hearings, and collections.
In addition to her judicial duties, Judge Campbell maintains an active private law practice at Cooper Law Firm, where she continues to focus on juvenile law, family law, and adoptions. With more than 34 years of legal experience, she brings compassion, integrity, and deep legal knowledge to her work both on and off the bench. Judge Campbell earned her Juris Doctor degree from John Marshall Law School and holds a bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University.
A devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Judge Campbell is the mother of four accomplished adult children and an active participant in numerous civic and community organizations. Her commitment to public service extends beyond the courtroom as she devotes time to civic initiatives, youth mentorship, and community development programs throughout Houston County. Judge Campbell remains deeply involved in professional, faith-based, and community activities, reflecting her lifelong dedication to justice, family, faith, and service.
